The Expert Review Panel for the ST 3 proposal by Sound Transit held its latest 2 day review session on April 11 and 12. This is a facilitated panel of 8 eight experts from around the country who were set up by the legislature and appointed by the legislative leadership to ask tough(?) questions of the technical staff of Sound Transit about assumptions, methods, processes, risks, etc. regarding the ST 3 proposal. Their final report is required prior to Sound Transit Board’s final decisions on the Ballot Issue. Stay tuned.
April 20, 2016 ETA MEETING -----The April ETA meeting will feature a panel of ETA Board members moderated by Dick Paylor, ETA Chair speaking on various aspects of Sound Transit’s proposed ST 3 ballot measure. Panelists will be: Bob Pishue, Transportation Director, Washington Policy Center and ETA Board Member
Vic Bishop, P.E., ETA Chair-elect
- Reporting on WPC’s papers and blogs relating to ST 3
Will Knedlik, ETA Board Member and Secretary
- Reporting on ETA’s Research Committee reports.
Each of the panelists have written papers or testified to various aspects of the ST 3 proposal.
- Reporting on legal issues that may be relevant.
ETA has been following the development of the ST 3 proposal for several years. There are many and varied issues to discuss.
